Kruuse - Body suit for after surgery

Certain breeds of dogs just aren’t good candidates for the “ cone of shame” as many refer to it. Weimaraners would be a great example. Athletic, high energy, busy, problem solvers, a cone becomes something to conquer with the stopwatch racing. I was dreading Bluebell’s spay, until our trainer told me to buy her a Suitical ahead of the surgery. Since we got her in the wintertime, she was used to wearing little sweaters and coats. They put it on her at the vet, and she came home in it. I bought extra so I could launder one and have a fresh one. No obsessive licking. No pulling at the sutures. It’s a little bit of a hassle on a wiggly puppy to snap and unsnap her little onesie each time she has to go out. But the lack of brain damage dealing with a cone has been truly amazing. My daughter said it best: “ Why did no one think of this before??”

My puppy was spayed yesterday. This is so much better than a cone !! Dogs can always manipulate the cone to lick their wounds but not with the suit! I Unsnap the back and attach the Velcro so she can poop & pee, resnap & wala!! If your Vet has these for sale , BUY IT ! OR BE PREPARED WITH ONE ON HAND !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

Post op, a cone was placed on my dog. She destroyed it in record time. The surgical tee shirt was placed on the dog and so much more humane. The dog did not fight it, wore it without a problem. It was also easy to unsnap to allow the dog to toilet without the teeshirt getting soiled.
