Keep your cat’s box fresh with the Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Senior Silica Crystal Cat Litter. The senior formula helps prevent kidney failure, urinary, and uterine infections. The hypoallergenic and non-toxic formula helps keep the area fresh and reduces the risk of odors. This dust-free cat litter is formulated so that it clumps easily, making it easier to spot waste and scoop it right out. The multi-cat strength is able to prevent moisture from getting to the bottom of the box, which enables you to easily dispose of all waste.

Instructions

Instructions: Pour one inch of Dr. Elsey's Senior into a clean litter box. Remove solid waste daily and rake crystals to ensure freshness. Litter does not form scoopable clumps. A single litter box filled with Dr. Elsey's Senior can handle multiple cats but we recommend using more than one litter box if you have more than one cat. Crystals may become discolored. The color does not affect the performance. One application will typically last two weeks depending upon use. After two weeks, completely dump the contents of the box and wash with mild soap and hot water. Refill with one inch of Dr. Elsey's Senior. Additional Instructions: Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination. Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid. Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur. Transition Instructions: Pour Dr. Elsey’s into a clean litter box, using half as much as you would with a clay based litter. Top off the Dr. Elsey’s with the litter you are using now, mixing as you add. Give your cat time to get used to the crystal texture. Once your cat is used to the crystal texture (about one week), empty the litter box completely into the trash, and refill with Dr. Elsey’s.
