Mazuri Waterfowl Breeder diet can be fed as a major part of the birds daily food intake during the breeding season (spring months). If supplementation is desired, species-appropriate food items should be provided at no more than 20% of the total dietary intake (as is basis). The feed can be offered ad libitum to mature birds 2 to 4 weeks before breeding season. Adult birds should eat in the range of 25-30 grams/kg of body weight each day, depending on species size. Scatter directly on the water, where it will float, or it can be fed in a long, shallow trough, which will prevent the food from floating away from the birds. For added convenience, this diet may also be offered dry.
