This veterinary exclusive wet dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog's urinary tract and bladder health. The complete and balanced formula promotes satiety-meaning it provides a feeling of satisfaction, so your dog feels fuller in between meals and is less likely to beg. This formula is designed with Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support and weight management. Our 2 year old Shih Tzu has a bladder stone. We tried the dry Royal Canin SO but she would not eat the dry. We did not want 12 cans of wet food at this time because it is very expensive. I purchased this wet food for my dog because of his former set-to he had with bladder stones. I don’t use this as his regular feeding food but the dry one. I use this as a treat for his cow hooves and he absolutely loves it. I love Southern Agriculture not just because they are one of the few that sell this special prescription food, but because they don’t mess around when it comes to getting your stuff together and shipping it not to mention their very pleasant and involved customer service/Communication.
