When your cat faces both urinary challenges and food sensitivities, your veterinarian turned to Royal Canin Urinary SO + Hydrolyzed Protein — the only formula designed to tackle both conditions simultaneously. Developed using Relative SuperSaturation (RSS) methodology, this veterinary-exclusive dry cat food creates a urinary environment that actively discourages the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, the two most common types of urinary stones in cats.

The highly digestible hydrolyzed soy protein is broken down to a molecular size that the immune system is less likely to recognize, significantly reducing the risk of skin irritation and gastrointestinal reactions in cats with food sensitivities. I ordered other pet food from Chewy on the same day and received it in just 2 days with only a $6 shipping charge. In comparison, Southern Agriculture charged $14 for the cheapest shipping option, with delivery estimated at 8 days. I even chose the second shipping option, which cost an extra $2, but it still took 7 days to receive it. I hope Southern Agriculture improve their shipping charges and processing times in the future. Winston appeared in our yard in 2015. He is now ~11 years old, neutered ands weighs in at 32lbs. He has feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD)and had a urethrostomy in 2019. He has been on the Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein and SO for approximately 5 years. I believe without this specialized food Winston would be diabetic and have renal issues. October 2022 my precious Lopaka was rushed to ER with blockage from urinary crystals. For a month I was living on pins and needles as his life was still considered "guarded condition" and I was told I could not leave him alone at all for 30 days. He was put on a special diet for life. But I quickly found that this combo of food was very hard to find. I searched every where until I found Southern Agriculture. They were quick to return my call, helped me every way possible and his food has always been in stock. The people at Southern Agriculture go out of there way to help. And being half Okie, living in OK for a short time as a child and a lifetime of memories, I was thrilled to be able to support OK economy. Lopaka is rather piggy when it comes to food so I have all 6 cats on this diet since he tries to steal everyone's food. I tried to get a photo of him eating the food but he won't let me, so I've included instead this photo of Lopaka with his sister, Baby Girl. Thank you SA for all you do!

Isla, my almost 2-year old Tripawd girl, has had food sensitivities since birth and had been eating RC Hydrolyzed Protein. Now, she's been diagnosed with FLUTD and requires Urinary SO. No one has this special mix except Southern Agriculture. We just started the food, and she loves it! Thank you Southern Agriculture from both me and Isla!

My cat was already limited to certain meats before developing bladder crystals. Hydrolyzed protein special diet urine and bladder crystal control cat food is hard to find, and it’s not available on Chewy. I’m glad Southern Agriculture carries this rare cat food, because giving cans full time for two special diets (two cats who share food) was getting expensive. This hydrolyzed protein food still does have chicken, which is what triggers stomach upset for my cat, so it’s not perfect, but she’s doing better than on her prior dry food. Thanks Southern Ag! Both cats eat the food just fine - no complaints.
